Selected from a pool of over 1,000 undergraduates from the School of Engineering and Sciences—alongside four other first-year engineering students—to join the first edition of the Global Leaders for the Future (GLF) program at Tecnológico de Monterrey. This experience has challenged us to address global issues in Health, Sustainability, and Industrial Transformation while strengthening our leadership through training, mentorship from industry leaders, coaching from young professionals, and preparation for an international experience in Summer 2025. We have been immersed in a demanding leadership course that has pushed us beyond our comfort zones and fostered both personal and professional growth; one of the most impactful moments was meeting with Feniosky Peña-Mora, where my peers and I presented our projects and received valuable feedback. During this program, Daniel A. Jacobo-Velázquez has been mentoring and supporting me in consolidating my project.
