Tec Week | Climate Emergency May 2026

As mentor and content leader for Semana Tec's "Emergencia Climática" track, I guided multidisciplinary student cohorts through climate science, sustainability innovation, and solutions-oriented problem-solving. Acting as a Socio Formador, I co-designed the challenge brief centered on Monterrey's air quality crisis and aligned with SDG 13, framing the problem so students could connect scientific evidence with real-world action. Throughout the week, I advised teams as they developed their proposals and later evaluated their final deliverables. The resulting initiatives spanned diverse approaches, including a bike-friendly certification program for SMEs, a state penal code reform on severe air pollution, school awareness workshops, and an immersive art exhibition on pollution's health and economic costs.
