Tec Week | Climate Emergency Sep 2026

As mentor and content leader for Semana Tec's "Emergencia Climática" track, I guided two groups of 30 students each through climate science, sustainability innovation, and solutions-oriented problem-solving. Acting as a Socio Formador, I co-designed the challenge brief centered on Monterrey's air quality crisis and aligned with SDG 13, framing the problem so students could connect scientific evidence with real-world action. Throughout the week, I advised multidisciplinary teams as they developed their initiatives and evaluated 12 resulting proposals across five types of advocacy. These ranged from a bike-friendly certification program for SMEs and a state penal code reform on severe air pollution to school awareness workshops and an immersive art exhibition on pollution's health and economic costs.
